Ernest Coyte-King is an experienced telecommunications professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently, Ernest serves as the Principal Engineer Telecommunications Design at Western Power, a position held since March 2009, alongside roles such as Telecoms Engineering Team Leader and Automation Design Team Leader. Prior to Western Power, Ernest worked as a Telecoms Engineer at WirelessG and as a System Engineer at GPL Telecoms, contributing to the development and implementation of telecom solutions across Africa. Ernest began the career as a System Engineer at Alcatel Altech, providing technical support on E10 exchanges and IN platforms for Telkom South Africa. Education was completed at the University of Pretoria from 1990 to 1995.
