Deb Spanner

Deb Spanner is a seasoned professional in mental health and social work, currently serving as Senior Manager for Mental Health and Wellbeing at Western Queensland PHN since January 2022. Spanner has a long-standing involvement with the Australian Association of Social Workers, certified as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker. Previous roles include Partnerships and Business Development Manager at Brisbane Youth Service, Director of Human Services at Gidgee Healing QLD, and various leadership positions within the Council to Homeless Persons Australia. An educator, Spanner has contributed to curriculum development as an Associate Lecturer at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Spanner holds a Master of Business from QUT and is confirmed for a PhD in Social Work at Charles Sturt University.
