Derik Malone

Vice President Northeast Division at Western Spirits Beverage Company

Derik Malone has held various roles in the beverage industry throughout their career. Derik started as a Sales Representative at Bacardi in 1991, then became an Account Manager at The Paddington Corporation from 1994-1995. Derik moved on to work as a National Brand Manager at The Paddington Corporation from 1996-1997. Derik then joined IDV in 1998 as a Portfolio Manager focused on Control States. In that same year, they also worked at Brown-Forman as an Area Manager and later as a State Manager until 2001. From 2001-2009, Derik was an Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Stonehill College. Derik then transitioned to Infinium Spirits in 2009, where they served as the Director for the New England region until 2014. In 2014, Derik took on the role of Vice President for the Northeast Division at Western Spirits. Alongside their career, they have also worked as an Adjunct Faculty Member at Massasoit Community College since 2002.

Derik Malone attended Boston College High School from 1982 to 1986. After completing their high-school education, they enrolled in Babson College and pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Marketing/Communications. Derik studied at Babson College from 1987 to 1991. Later, they went on to pursue higher education at the University of the Pacific, where they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Management. This took place from 1993 to 1995.
