Matthew Riegel has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. Matthew began their career at Wells Fargo in 2003 as a Learning Development Specialist before transitioning to the role of Customer Service Supervisor in 2010. In this role, they supervised and coached a team of customer service representatives, maintaining performance metrics and goals. Matthew then joined Western State Bank in 2014 as an Assistant Vice President/Customer Care Manager, where they provided leadership to the Customer Care Team and worked on developing and implementing internal processes. Matthew was promoted to Vice President/Customer Care Manager in 2017 and eventually took on the additional role of Retail Bank Manager in 2020. In this position, they were responsible for leading the retail team, ensuring superior customer experiences, and recruiting, coaching, and managing team members.

Matthew Riegel obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Human Resources Management and Services from the University of Mary, where they attended from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Fargo High School from 1992 to 1995, graduating with a degree in General Studies.
