Jerry Darnell

Jerry Darnell has held the position of Vice President of Agriculture, South Region for Western Sugar since 2007. Mr. Darnell began in the sugar industry in 1991 as an Agriculturist in Torrington, Wyoming. He continued as an Agriculturist after moving to Scottsbluff, Nebraska in 1995. In 2002, Mr. Darnell was promoted to the position of Nebraska Agricultural Manager for Western Sugar. He is currently a representative for Western Sugar on the Beet Sugar Development Foundation where he serves as President. Mr. Darnell graduated from from the University of Wyoming with his bachelor’s in Agricultural Business Economics.
