Michael Baird

Michael Baird has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Michael has recently worked as the Supply Chain Director at Western Sugar Cooperative since 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Supply Chain at Trilliant Food & Nutrition, LLC from 2020 to 2022, where they led a department of 100+ team members and implemented various supply chain management strategies. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as the Director of Integrated Business Planning at Rembrandt Foods, where they focused on demand planning, supply chain planning, and operations planning. Michael also has extensive experience at USC Consulting Group, where they served as a Business Excellence Program Manager from 2013 to 2019 and a Continuous Improvement Project Manager from 2011 to 2013, leading supply chain improvement initiatives globally. Michael started their career as an OSHA Specialist at Educational Service District 123, helping develop and manage workers' safety programs. Before that, Michael served in the Army National Guard as a US Army Infantry Team Leader, gaining experience in vehicle mechanics, infantry leadership, and humanitarian relief efforts.

Michael Baird earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business and History from Washington State University Tri-Cities in 2011. In the same year, they also obtained an Associates in Risk Management (ARM-P) from The Institutes: AICPCU. In 2008, Michael completed a Systems Mechanics Course at the United States Army - Camp Roberts, focusing on Mechanics & Maintenance. Michael also attended the Warriors Leadership Course at the United States Army - Ft Hood, TX in 2007, studying Military and Strategic Leadership. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Business Administration from Western Oregon University in 2005. Additionally, in 2015, Michael obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
