Brad Ceely

Director, Oral Health at Western Sydney Local Health District

Brad is a highly motivated, future-focused leader with extensive senior leadership experience within the NSW Health system. He is a strong believer in working collaboratively with all stakeholders and the executive to achieve strategic objectives and priorities through innovative thought and planning.

During his long-standing clinical career in Paediatric Nursing, Brad became the first paediatric critical care nurse practitioner in Australia. He led the development, implementation and evaluation of the Paediatric Intensive Care Nurse Practitioner Outreach Service, the Paediatric Between the Flags program in NSW, and the model of care for the first standalone Long Term Ventilation Unit in NSW.

Prior to joining WSLHD, Brad held a variety of senior clinical and executive roles at the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network (SCHN) including Co-Director Paediatric Intensive Care, Clinical Program Director, and recently acting for an extended period as the Director of Clinical Operations, which included leading the operational commissioning of paediatric services in the combined Central Acute Services Building at Westmead Hospital.
