Barney Glover

Barney Glover is the current Rector at Western Sydney University - ASEAN Hub. Barney has previously worked as the CEO for the Committee for Sydney, a Commonwealth of Australia public servant, and in various leadership roles for the Association for Tertiary Education Management, Peoples Republic of China, Royal Society of NSW, Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering (ATSE), NSW Innovation and Productivity Council, and Business Events Sydney (BESydney). Barney has also been a Professor at Western Sydney University.

Barney Glover received their PhD in Mathematics from the University of Melbourne, followed by a DipEd in Mathematics Education from the same school. Barney then went on to earn an MSc in Mathematics from the University of Melbourne, and finally a BSc(Hons) in Mathematics from the same school. Prior to their university career, they attended Newcomb High School.
