Kym Hennessy

Kym Hennessy is an accomplished academic and healthcare professional with extensive experience in podiatric medicine. Currently serving as an Academic Program Advisor and Lecturer in Podiatric Medicine at Western Sydney University since January 2013, Kym has made significant contributions to the field. Prior experience includes a role as a PhD Research Student at Glasgow Caledonian University from October 2009 to December 2013, and dual positions as a Podiatrist at Sutherland Shire Podiatry and Port Kembla Hospital from 2006 to 2009. Kym holds a Graduate Certificate in Health Professional Education from The University of Notre Dame Australia (2022-2023), a PhD in Foot and Ankle Rheumatology from Glasgow Caledonian University (2009-2013), a Bachelor of Applied Science (Honours) in Podiatry from Western Sydney University (2002-2005), and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Wollongong (1999-2001).
