Sandra Garrido, PhD, is a Senior Researcher at Western Sydney University, specializing in leading multidisciplinary research collaborations encompassing design, data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and program evaluation since January 2016. Currently, Sandra serves as a Senior Research Fellow at ReachOut Australia and previously held the position of Senior Research Manager at The MARCS Institute for Brain, Behaviour and Development from 2016 to December 2019. In the role of NHMRC-ARC Dementia Research Development Fellow, Sandra designed and conducted experimental research to create evidence-based training modules for aged care staff and led an interdisciplinary team in a randomized controlled trial to assess the effectiveness of these training materials. Sandra holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from UNSW.
