Rodrigo Garcia Estebarena

President, North America at Western Union

As President, North America, Rodrigo Garcia Estebarena is responsible for Western Union’s business across the region, driving the company’s market development and growth across all products, channels, and customer segments. As President, Latin America and The Caribbean, he also has led that region’s 52 countries and territories; prior to that he served as Head of Mexico, Caribbean, and Central America.

Rodrigo has more than 25 years of financial services experience, in positions of increasing regional seniority. He joined Pago Fácil (a Western Union-acquired company) in 2004 as Senior Manager, Marketing Payments, Argentina, and went on to lead several marketing and business development teams at the company.

After joining Western Union in 2004 and serving in several other roles, in 2014 Rodrigo was appointed Vice President and General Manager for Mexico, one of the Company’s key global markets. In this role, he was responsible for the Western Union business in Mexico, including the expansion of the core remittance business under the Western Union, Vigo, and Orlandi Valuta brands, and the development of new channels and products.
