Cynthia Ferrini

Cynthia Ferrini has extensive work experience in human resources. Cynthia most recently worked at Western University of Health Sciences, starting in 2019 as the Executive Director of Human Resources and later becoming the Associate Vice President of Human Resources in 2020. Prior to that, they worked at the University of California Office of the President as a Human Resources Business Partner from 2015 to 2019. Cynthia has also held human resources leadership roles at the University of California, Riverside; City of Hope National Medical Center; Keck Graduate Institute of Applied Life Sciences; and Catasys (formerly Hythiam, Inc). In 2002, they founded CDF Human Resources Consulting as a Principal.

Cynthia Ferrini holds a PhD in Higher Education Administration from Claremont Graduate University, which they obtained between the years 1997 and 2001. Cynthia also holds a Master of Library & Information Sciences (MLIS) degree from San Jose State University, a Master of Arts (MA) in Higher Education Administration from Claremont Graduate University, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from UC San Diego. Additionally, they have obtained certifications including viaEdge from Korn Ferry, Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from HR Certification Institute, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (ICYB) from Rath & Strong, UC Women's Initiative for Professional Development from Coro New York Leadership Center, and SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from SHRM.
