Csilla Koppany is a native Orange County resident. She is a full time Science “STEAM” Lead educator in La Habra City School District. Csilla graduated from University of California, Irvine with a Biological Sciences degree and continued her further education at Pepperdine University. Csilla returned to the University of California, Irvine to receive her second Master’s Degree in Education with an emphasis in Administration with Curriculum and Design.
Csilla is a seasoned educator of 22 years and has worked day in and out with the population that Western Youth Services serve. A strong believer in service to others, her philosophy is that the greatest impact we can have on the course of our lives is being actively involved in giving back.
Among her other passions, is to educate other teachers on project based teaching and serves as an adjunct professor at Fullerton College. Csilla is also a lover of the arts and is an active ballroom dancer.
Csilla joined the board of directors in 2014.
