John Lane

John Lane is a seasoned banking executive with extensive experience in credit risk and management. Currently serving as Chief Credit Officer at Westfield Bank since December 2024, John has previously held significant roles such as EVP, Chief Credit and Risk Officer at Community Savings from January 2022 to November 2024 and at The Middlefield Banking Company from December 2018 to January 2022. Prior to that, John was Senior Vice President of Credit Risk at Civista Bank, where management of the Special Assets Group was undertaken, and held the position of Vice President at The Huntington National Bank, overseeing a criticized asset portfolio and small business banking portfolio management. John Lane earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Management from the United States Military Academy at West Point, an MBA in Management from Duke University, and completed the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
