Janet Kang

Janet Kang is an accomplished actuary with extensive experience in insurance and risk management. Currently serving as the Vice President of Actuarial at Westfield Specialty Insurance since September 2025, Janet specializes in pricing for Professional Lines and Cyber insurance. Prior to this role, Janet held positions including US Cyber Pricing Lead at AXIS Capital and Head of Reserving/Senior Actuary at Corvus Insurance, focusing on Cyber and Tech EO Reserving, Claims Analytics, and Profitability Reviews. Janet's background also includes significant roles at Liberty Mutual Insurance as part of the Pricing Support Team for Global Risk Solutions, as well as a Pricing Actuary for Commercial Liability at AXA XL. Earlier career experiences include an actuarial associate role at PwC and consulting work at Deloitte. Janet holds a degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
