Lia Potter

Lia Potter is an Associate Actuarial Analyst at Westfield Insurance, specializing in the Small Business Pricing Team since June 2024. Previously, Lia held various actuarial internships, including positions at Ansel Health and AIG, where notable contributions included automating month-end reporting workflows, conducting loss ratio analyses, and supporting the transition to the LDTI valuation method. Lia also enhanced the rating process for small commercial auto insurance at Westfield through severity trend analyses and algorithm automation. In addition to actuarial work, Lia served as a math tutor at the University of Mississippi and as a lifeguard and assistant pool manager at local institutions. Lia earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Mississippi in May 2024.
