Robert Genest

Robert Genest currently serves as the Director of Presidential Communications at Westfield State University since February 2022, also holding positions as Director of Communications and Interim Director of Campus Communication. Prior experience includes a tenure at The Republican from January 2011 to February 2022 as Editorial Page Editor and Copy Editor, focusing on leisure and lifestyle sections. Earlier, Robert worked as a Project Manager for Pearson Education, overseeing content and publishing services, and as a Copy Editor at The Wall Street Journal, where responsibilities included editing breaking news and features, managing news assistants, and coordinating section efforts. Robert holds a BA in Communications from Westfield State University, completed in 1989.
