Carla Butorac

Carla Butorac is an experienced education professional specializing in special education. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Special Education at Westfield Washington Schools since July 2015, Carla provides professional development and coaching for educational staff. With a background as President of Behavior Communicates, a resource for parents and teachers of special needs children, Carla also held the role of Professional Development Coordinator at both Hamilton-Boone-Madison Special Services Cooperative and Carmel Clay Schools, focusing on special education staff training. Earlier experience includes serving as a Speech/Language Pathologist at MSD Lawrence Township, delivering therapy to students with communication disorders. Carla holds a Master of Arts for Teachers in Speech/Language Pathology from Indiana University Bloomington.
