Christine Peoples Decraene

Christine Peoples DeCraene has over 28 years of experience in education, currently serving as a Third Grade Teacher at Westfield Washington Schools since August 1999. Previous roles include First Grade Teacher and Physical Education Teacher at the same institution, as well as serving as the WOW Coordinator, Building Professional Development Coordinator, and 8th Grade Volleyball Coach. Christine has also contributed to the educational community as a Student Teaching Supervising Teacher and has received grants from the Westfield Educational Foundation and Forum Credit Union. Prior to Westfield Washington Schools, experience includes teaching Second Grade at Pike Township Schools and Kindergarten and First Grade at Bartholomew Consolidated School. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Reading, and Computer Literacy from Indiana State University and a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Indiana Wesleyan University.
