John Bonini

John Bonini's work experience includes serving as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Westfield Bank since August 2020. In this role, they are responsible for handling all legal matters related to Western New England Bancorp, Inc. and Westfield Bank. John provides legal support to the Company's Board of Directors, President and CEO, and Senior Management Team. Their responsibilities also include offering guidance on issues involving shareholders, customers, and employees, as well as SEC compliance and reporting.

Prior to joining Westfield Bank, John Bonini worked at Barings from April 2005 to April 2020. During their tenure at Barings, they held multiple roles, including Managing Director, Head of Real Estate Business Management from December 2017 to April 2020. In this position, they served as the operations officer for Barings' global Real Estate division, overseeing operations in 25 offices across the US, Europe, and Asia. Before this role, they held the position of Managing Director and Senior Counsel at Barings from April 2005 to December 2017.

John Bonini has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from Wesleyan University. John also holds a Doctor of Law - JD degree from Suffolk University Law School.
