Alexia Vasilopoulos

Alexia Vasilopoulos is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the High School Assistant Principal at Westgate Community School since July 2023. Previously, Alexia held various leadership roles, including Assistant Principal of Instruction and Student Services at STRIVE Prep and Director of Special Education at Crescent City Schools. Significant achievements include improving academic performance for students with exceptionalities, managing IEP services, and providing professional development for faculty. Alexia's educational background includes a Master of Science in Special Education from Dominican University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and French from Knox College, complemented by a C1 diploma of French fluency. Additional experience ranges from teaching special education to supporting civic engagement initiatives.
