Katherine Nguyen

Katherine Nguyen is a skilled finance professional currently serving as a CSI Finance Assistant at the University of Richmond. Responsibilities include processing various financial transactions, managing p-card purchases, and assisting with budgetary reports. Katherine has also held roles as an International Orientation Advisor, helping new international students acclimate to university life, and as a Student Researcher and Reunion Student Ambassador, fostering connections with alumni. In leadership roles, Katherine is the Executive Vice President of the Scholars of Finance and Treasurer of Women in Economics, while also chairing the Financial Affairs Committee for the Westhampton College Government Association. Academic research experience includes contributing to studies on LGBTQ-Affirmative Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and job market challenges for ethnic minority women in Vietnam. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mathematical Economics and Finance at the University of Richmond, Katherine combines academic rigor with practical financial management skills.
