Gerald MacKedon

Gerald Mackedon is an experienced golf professional currently serving as an Assistant Golf Professional at Westhampton Country Club and Lost Tree Club since 2021 and 2020 respectively. Mackedon has a diverse background in golf operations, having worked as an Assistant Tournament Director and Outside Service Operations Manager at Port Jefferson Country Club, where duties included tournament planning, staff management, and overseeing daily operations. Additionally, Mackedon has been a Sales Consultant at Great Oak Marina since 2015, focusing on customer interaction and product marketing. As captain of the St. John's University Men's Golf Team from 2016 to 2021, Mackedon demonstrated leadership and organizational skills. Educationally, Mackedon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from St. John’s University.
