Fernando Chan

Fernando Chan, P.E., is currently the Principal Materials Engineer at Westinghouse Electric Company, where they leverage extensive experience in mechanical and manufacturing engineering within the nuclear industry. They have worked on the qualification and manufacturing of new fuel products and have held various roles, including Principal Engineer and Senior Fluid Systems Design Engineer. Fernando earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a certificate in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, following a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut. Their expertise includes process engineering, reliability engineering, and Six Sigma methodologies.
