Jim Abshire

Jim Abshire is a Principal Engineer - Operations at Westinghouse Electric Company, with experience working on AP1000 new power plants as a specialist in plant operations, analyses, and setpoints for both domestic and international nuclear power plants. Prior to this, at American Electric Power, Jim worked as an Emergency Procedure Manager overseeing the EOP upgrade project. Starting their career at Exelon, Jim was a licensed nuclear plant operator, EOP coordinator, and INPO certified operations training instructor. Throughout their career, Jim has also been involved in projects such as Control Room Simulator Procurement.
