Donya Nojavanzadeh

Donya Nojavanzadeh is a highly experienced Staff Battery Control Systems Engineer at Rivian since November 2025, following a tenure as a Senior BMS Software Engineer at Karma Automotive. At Karma, Donya specialized in the development of battery management system (BMS) components, including estimators for battery states, diagnostics, and integration with powertrain controllers. Donya's academic background includes a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Washington State University, where notable achievements included being recognized as the Best Graduate Student Researcher and publishing over 40 scholarly articles.
