Ryan McCarthy

Ryan McCarthy is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions. Currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel for Mergers and Acquisitions at Westinghouse Electric Company since June 2020, McCarthy oversees the legal aspects of corporate transactions and provides strategic advice to senior management. Previous roles include Corporate Secondee Attorney at Uber and Senior Associate at Reed Smith LLP, where McCarthy led M&A transactions and advised clients on commercial lending and securities compliance. McCarthy's background also includes experience at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP and military service as an officer in the US Army during Operation Iraqi Freedom. McCarthy holds a J.D. magna cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.S. in Biology from Penn State University.
