Michael Hossack

Michael Hossack has a diverse work experience, with roles in various companies and industries. Michael started their career at TELUS, where they held positions such as Senior Technical Analyst and Desktop Support Manager. Michael then moved on to roles such as Senior Manager, Transition and Engagement, and Director, ITI Alberta. Following their time at TELUS, they worked at FGL Sports Ltd as Associate Vice President - Production Services and Senior Manager, IT Operations. Michael also had roles at Bayer as a Senior Consultant and at Air Canada as a Senior Consultant, where they worked on defining Non-Functional Application Support metrics and resolving IT issues. Michael worked at ATB Financial as a Senior Consultant, where they conducted ITIL-based maturity assessments and developed roadmaps for improved ITIL maturity. Most recently, they were a Senior Consultant at LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services, responsible for providing services as a Subject Matter Expert for project deployment and building RFPs for ITSM tool implementation. Currently, they hold the position of Director - IT Performance at WestJet.

Michael Hossack has studied Computer Science at the University of Calgary. Michael has also attended the UBC Sauder School of Business and the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management, where they focused on Directors Business School. In addition, Michael has obtained certifications in ITIL v3 Foundations and MCSE+I NT4.
