Daryl Wheat

Daryl Wheat is a seasoned technical professional with extensive experience in process control systems. Since September 2010, Daryl has served as the Technical Superintendent for VCM Process Controls at Westlake, overseeing a team that includes a Senior Process Controls Engineer and a DCS Network & Cybersecurity Administrator. In this role, Daryl manages complex networks comprising multiple Honeywell Experion C300 controllers and Allen Bradley processors, with a focus on communication via Modbus TCP. Prior to this, Daryl worked at Westlake CA&O as a DCS Controls Supervisor for the Ethylene Plant, where responsibilities included process configuration and programming on an Emerson Provox network. Daryl's career began at B.F. Goodrich as an Operations Supervisor. Daryl holds a Master's degree in Industrial Education from Murray State University, earned between 1984 and 1988.
