Phuong Tran

Phuong "Phil" Tran is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the fields of mechanical and reliability engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Rotating Equipment Reliability Engineer and previously as a Vinyl Chloride Monomer (VCM) Production Engineer at Westlake since August 2018, Phil has demonstrated expertise in both production and reliability sectors. Prior to Westlake, Phil held the position of Quality Engineer at Toshiba International Corporation and served as Lead Process Engineer in Body Engineering at Nissan North America from March 2012 to August 2017. Early career experience includes a role as a Design Engineer at Hol-Mac Corp. Phil holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Mississippi State University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Automobile/Automotive Mechanics Technology from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.
