Christopher M. Edens M.D., Faad

Christopher M. Edens, MD, FAAD, serves as the Department Chair of the Dermatology department at Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center on Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, overseeing clinic operations for the largest military dermatology clinic. With a career in the United States Air Force since July 2008, Christopher has held various roles including Staff Dermatologist, Interim Program Director for the largest dermatology residency training program, and Medical Director. Additionally, Christopher has experience as a Primary Care Physician and Element Chief at the Trainee Health Clinic, where responsibilities included overseeing medical care for thousands of military personnel. Christopher completed a Doctor of Medicine at Uniformed Services University and a residency at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium, following a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the United States Air Force Academy. Currently, Christopher is a Clinical Dermatologist at Westlake Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery.
