Kanaris Paraskevopoulos

Kanaris Paraskevopoulos currently serves as the Chief Information Officer at Westland Insurance Group Ltd., leading the Information Technology strategy and supporting digital transformation initiatives since July 2025. Previously, Kanaris held the role of Executive Vice President & Chief Digital and Information Officer at Saskatchewan Government Insurance from May 2018 to July 2025, where responsibilities included overseeing technology and data streams and developing a data governance model for digital transformation. Prior experience includes positions at iQmetrix, where Kanaris was Vice President of Technology and Head of Infrastructure and Operations from 2013 to 2018, as well as various technical roles at Saskatchewan Government Insurance from 2000 to 2009. Kanaris holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering with a specialization in Computer Science from the University of Regina, completed in 2000.
