Lisa Deguchi has over 20 years of professional experience in finance, communications, and operations. Lisa started their career as Manager of Communications & Operations at the Vancouver Economic Development Commission in 2001. Lisa then held roles at Oremex Resources Corp. as Senior Manager of Communications & Administration and at Capstone Mining Corp. and Canada Place Corporation as a Senior Accountant. Lisa joined Westland Insurance Group Ltd. in 2011 and has since progressed through various roles, including Assistant Controller, Controller, Senior Manager of Finance, and currently serves as Director of Finance Business Solutions.
Lisa Deguchi graduated from The University of British Columbia in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology. Lisa also holds certifications as a CPA, CGA from the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia and as a Payroll Compliance Practitioner from the Canadian Payroll Association.
