Curtis Miles, P.E. has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Curtis started their career as a Dine-in Support and Cashier at Pei Wei Asian Diner in 2007. In 2008, they worked as a Warehouse Assistant at Green Giraffe, LLC, where they were responsible for various warehousing and distribution tasks. Curtis then joined IMB (International Mission Board) in 2011 as a Summer Student Team Lead.

In 2011, they also began working at M3 Engineering & Technology as a Student Intern, where they provided support to engineers and gained experience in AutoCAD. Curtis continued at M3 Engineering & Technology as a Piping Engineer, designing comprehensive piping systems for mineral processing plants and performing design calculations for hydraulic systems.

In 2014, Curtis joined WestLand Engineering & Environmental Services as an Engineer-in-Training. Curtis later took up the role of Project Engineer | Project Manager, where they managed and oversaw various projects. Curtis also served as the Chair of the Employee Owners Committee, playing a crucial role in fostering a company culture that encourages employees to think and act like owners.

During their time at WestLand Engineering & Environmental Services, Curtis also held the positions of Assistant Director | Group Manager, where they provided department oversight and organizational management, and Mining Projects Lead, where they managed client relationships and led project teams.

In 2016, Curtis ventured into entrepreneurship and started their own consulting firm called Heedright Consulting. As an Operations Consultant, they worked with small businesses in Tucson to develop and improve systems and operational routines, with a focus on efficiency, cost-saving, and growth.

Lastly, in 2010, Curtis worked as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University of Arizona, where they assisted in a research project on ephemeral washes under Dr. Thomas Meixner's supervision.

Curtis Miles, P.E. has accumulated a range of skills and experiences throughout their career, including project management, engineering design, leadership, and consulting.

Curtis Miles, P.E. obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Arizona from 2008 to 2012. Curtis also holds a Professional Engineer (Civil) certification from the State of Arizona, which they received in May 2016. Additionally, Curtis has an MSHA Certificate of Training from the U.S. Department of Labor, although the exact date of obtaining this certification is unknown.
