Darcy J Anderson has a diverse work experience in various environmental sectors. From 2019 to present, Anderson served as a Senior Project Manager and a Project Manager in the Environmental Sector at WestLand Engineering & Environmental Services, Inc. Prior to this, from 2017 to 2019, Anderson worked as a Senior Air Quality Specialist at CH2M/Jacobs. Anderson had a similar role as a Senior Air Quality Specialist at CH2M HILL from 2015 to 2019. Additionally, at CH2M HILL, Anderson also served as a Permitting and Compliance Manager for the Fargo-Moorhead Diversion Project from 2016 to 2017.
Before joining CH2M HILL, Anderson ran Darcy J. Anderson Consulting from 2004 to 2015, where the focus was on the development and deployment of optical instrumentation for various projects related to air quality monitoring, satellite remote sensing, unmanned aerial vehicles, and meteorological applications.
Anderson's work experience also includes customer service ticket operations at the Arizona Diamondbacks from 2000 to 2015, serving as an Environmental Program Supervisor at Pinal County Air Quality Department from 2014 to 2015, being an Air Quality Program Coordinator at the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) from 2013 to 2014, and working as an Air Quality and Noise Team Leader at ADOT from 2012 to 2013.
Furthermore, Anderson served as the Past President of Engineering Council at the University of Arizona from 2007 to 2013. Prior to this, from 2011 to 2012, Anderson worked as a Senior Environmental Scientist at AMEC Environment & Infrastructure, specializing in air quality consulting, environmental planning and permitting, and greenhouse gas emissions inventory and reporting.
Darcy J Anderson has a strong background in environmental sciences, specifically in hydrology, geochemistry, and air pollution meteorology. From 1988 to 1990, Darcy pursued a Master of Science degree in Air Pollution Meteorology at South Dakota Mines. Later on, from 1994 to 2000, Darcy attended the University of Arizona where they obtained another Master of Science degree, this time focusing on Hydrology and Geochemistry.
