Justin Bland

Justin Bland is currently the Manager of Environmental Compliance and Sustainability at LaGuardia Gateway Partners, a position held since January 2023. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of the Bureau of Commercial Waste and as a Policy Analyst at the NYC Department of Sanitation from February 2015 to January 2023. Justin gained expertise as a Budget and Policy Analyst for the Environment Portfolio at the New York City Independent Budget Office from May 2012 to February 2015, and earlier held various research and analytical positions at Pratt Institute, Regional Plan Association, Pratt Center for Community Development, and the US Census Bureau. Justin holds a Master of Science in City and Regional Planning from Pratt Institute and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography, Sociology, and Geographic Information Systems from The George Washington University.
