Martin O'Donnell

Martin O'Donnell, FRSA, currently serves as the Community Development Project Manager at Westminster City Council since September 2023. Previously, Martin held roles including Community Programmes Coordinator at Newground CIC, where management of the Wakefield Employment and Skills Team and the Greener Together Programme was undertaken, and Strategic Lead for Bids and Partnerships at ForHousing, focusing on developing strategic partnerships and funding submissions. Martin's extensive experience includes leadership positions at Peabody, where responsibilities encompassed managing the Community Development Team, integrating community teams post-merger, and implementing community investment strategies. In addition to serving as Vice Chairman of The Finchley Charities, Martin's governance experience includes trustee roles with STONEGROVE COMMUNITY TRUST and THE RICARDO COMMUNITY FOUNDATION, along with directorships at the Association of British Credit Unions. Martin's educational background includes a Post Graduate Diploma in Housing from Middlesex University and degrees from London Metropolitan University and Heidelberg University in Contemporary European Studies.
