Serena Simon

Serena Simon is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in community development and safety, currently serving as Director of Communities at Westminster City Council since March 2017. In this role, Serena has also held positions such as Programme Director for Regeneration and Project Manager - Interim. Additionally, Serena has been associated with Community Safety Professionals since June 2010, delivering high-quality training to various public sector personnel with a proven record of success. As the owner of EMPOWER CIC from January 2001 to July 2018, Serena facilitated business and personal empowerment initiatives. Previous roles include Agile Project Manager for Westminster Unison and Neighbourhood Crime Reduction, along with experience in project management within the construction sector for EMPOWER Construction. Serena holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of East London School of Law and Social Sciences.
