Mariana Torres

Mariana Torres, Ed.D., currently serves as the Director of Academic Learning Communities and Associate Director of the Undergraduate Colleges at Stony Brook University since February 2020. Prior to this role, Mariana held the position of Assistant Director of Student Activities and Engagement at the Borough of Manhattan Community College from April 2015 to February 2020. Mariana's earlier experience includes serving as the Director of Student Activities and Alumni Affairs and Area Director at Five Towns College from June 2011 to May 2015. Mariana earned a Doctor of Education in Instructional Leadership from St. John's University, a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from Stony Brook University, and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Sociology from Eastern Connecticut State University.
