Lavinia Davis-Laux

Lavinia Davis-Laux has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries. Lavinia started their career at Cataract and Laser Center, Inc. as the Director of Outpatient Services, where they played a key role in planning and implementing a new patient health information system.

Lavinia then moved on to FBR, where they held various positions in marketing, training, and client relations. In these roles, they developed and managed an employee education program, managed customer accounts, and implemented marketing strategies to attract and retain clients.

At the U.S. Travel Association, Lavinia served as a Member Relations Manager, where they supported and serviced a diverse set of USTA members. Lavinia also worked on program development, strategy, and member marketing initiatives.

Lavinia later transitioned to Arlington County Schools, where they worked as a Teaching Assistant. Lavinia applied current teaching methodologies and fostered a collaborative learning environment while maintaining open communication with parents.

Lavinia then joined Nicole Lanteri Design as a Project Manager, overseeing all aspects of design, material selection, and product procurement for residential renovation projects. Lavinia also played a pivotal role in client relations and new business development.

Following that, Lavinia worked at King Street Wireless, L.P. as a Project Manager, where they managed a $1.6M wireless buildout project across multiple markets. Lavinia also developed and maintained strategic relationships with vendors.

Prior to their current role, Lavinia held the position of Manager at the National Grocers Association, where they managed the NGA Research & Education Foundation.

Currently, Lavinia is the Director of Finance and Administration at Westminster Presbyterian Church, where they oversee financial and administrative operations.

Lavinia Davis-Laux attended Hingham High School from 1985 to 1988. Lavinia then pursued higher education at Boston University, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Broadcast Journalism from 1989 to 2002.
