Shannon Soares

Shannon Soares is an accomplished sports professional currently serving as the Director of Athletics at The Westminster Schools since July 2023 and as a Co-Founder of Bloom Sports Partners, a transformational sports advisory firm, since August 2022. Previously, Shannon was the Director of Project Strategy & Operations at Sportsology Group from 2020 to August 2022, where leadership in strategy and operations for high-performance sports organizations, including NFL, NBA, MLS, and NWSL, was demonstrated. Notable experience includes serving as the Associate Athletic Director for Administration & Varsity Sports at Georgetown University from 2014 to 2019, overseeing departmental strategic planning and special projects. Shannon began a coaching career as Head Field Hockey Coach at Virginia Commonwealth University from 2007 to 2013, following an earlier role as Assistant Field Hockey Coach. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Sport Administration from the University of Louisville and a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology from William & Mary.
