Christine Hollinger

Christine Hollinger is a seasoned music educator and professional musician with diverse experience in choral direction and development within the arts community. Currently serving as the Sing! Choir Director at Music Academy of the West since October 2018 and as adjunct faculty for the music department at Westmont College from January 2023, Christine is dedicated to fostering musical talent among youth. As a professional musician with SopranoChristine since 2005, Christine has contributed to numerous local organizations including Opera Santa Barbara and the Santa Barbara Choral Society. Previously, Christine held the positions of Director of Development at Ensemble Theatre Company and Development Manager at Santa Barbara Symphony, focusing on donor cultivation, event management, and database administration. Christine holds a Master’s degree in Music from UC Santa Barbara and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Southwest Minnesota State University.
