Cheryl Werner

Cheryl Werner has a diverse work history, starting in 1983 as a Teacher's Aid and Library Aid at the Yough School District. In 1985, they became an Office Manager at Spagnola's Giant Eagle until 1988. In 1989, Cheryl joined Westmoreland Community Action as the Operations Director for Head Start & Pre-K Counts. Cheryl also held the role of Staff Development Specialist and Pre-K Counts Manager at Westmoreland Community Action Head Start until 2023.

Cheryl Werner began their education at Yough - West Newton High School, where they obtained their high school diploma in 1976. Cheryl then pursued further education at Westmoreland County Community College from 1990 to 2000, earning an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education. Later, from 2009 to 2013, Cheryl attended Carlow University and completed their Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Development and Education.
