Matt Beatty joined Weston in 1991 and provides more than three decades of experience in business development, project and operations management, technology commercialization, and quality assurance in the environmental, infrastructure, and disaster response businesses for the government and private sector. Having served in many roles including Program Manager, Vice President- Operations Manager, Corporate Quality Manager, and Senior Vice President-Federal Operations Director, he led the company through its ISO 9001 Quality System Certification, managed the $110M emergency response Design/Build Pump Station project for USACE following Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, and achieved 18% sustained YOY organic growth in the Federal Operations Director role. In Matt’s current role as Senior Vice President, Strategy and Development Officer, he is responsible for the development of the company’s growth across federal, industrial, and state and local client sectors. Prior to Weston, Matt was a Project Manager and a Contracting Officer Representative for USACE Philadelphia District where he worked on some of the Army’s first Superfund Site remedial action programs. He provided training and program development across EPA and USACE during the implementation and rapid expansion of Superfund remedial programs in the 1980s. Matt is an active member of SAME and EFCG and earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
