Michael J Nicolaides, P.E. has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Michael J started their career in 2008 as an Electrical Engineer III at Allen Sherman Hoff, where they designed and troubleshooted control systems for ash handling systems. From 2009 to 2010, they worked at The Iron Shop as an Electrical Engineer, serving as both electrical/controls engineer and maintenance. Michael J also worked as an Electrical Inspector at Trainer Borough from 2009 to 2010, conducting inspections and reviewing electrical plans. In 2010, they joined Weston Solutions, Inc. as a Senior Project Engineer, overseeing the design engineering team for the Advanced Metering Infrastructure program. Michael J later worked at The Tri-M Group, LLC as a Sr. Project Engineer and at Nicolaides Electrical LLC as the Owner, performing electrical installations and repairs. From 2015 to 2021, they worked at PECO, an Exelon Company, first as a Sr. Engineer and then as a Section Engineer. In 2021, they joined LaFata Contract Services, LLC as a Sr. Project Engineer. Currently, they are working at Primera Engineers as an Engineer V and will join Weston Solutions, Inc. as a Principal Project Engineer in 2023. Michael J. Nicolaides, P.E. holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering from Villanova University, which they obtained from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University, studying between 1998 and 2003. Michael J. Nicolaides, P.E. also completed their high school education at Springfield High School. In addition to their educational achievements, they have obtained various certifications, including their Professional Engineer designation from multiple states, Master Electrician licenses, and certifications in electrical inspection and examination.
