Megan Valenti

Megan Valenti is an experienced educator with a focus on humanities and student support. Currently serving as the Grades 11 and 12 Class Dean and Humanities Teacher at Westover School since August 2022, Megan oversees the academic and holistic development of 75 students and facilitates weekly deans meetings to enhance student success. Prior to this role, Megan taught Humanities at Sora Schools and developed curriculum for various history courses at The Taft School, where Megan also held positions as a faculty mentor and committee chair. Megan's earlier experience includes teaching middle school history and serving as a college counselor for disadvantaged students in Los Angeles. Megan holds a Master's Degree in Teaching Secondary Social Studies from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a BA in History and Education from UCLA.
