Ben Taylor

Ben Taylor is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in financial markets and ESG advisory. Currently serving as Senior Manager of ESG Advisory at Westpac New Zealand since June 2023, Ben Taylor focuses on providing expertise and resources in the agricultural sector, while playing a key role in the development and implementation of the Net Zero Banking Alliance targets. Prior to this, Ben Taylor held various positions at Westpac from July 2007 to June 2023, including Associate Director and Senior Associate in Financial Markets, where responsibilities included helping clients manage foreign exchange and interest rate risks. Earlier experience includes serving as a Banking Consultant at The National Bank of New Zealand from March 2006 to July 2007. Ben Taylor holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and Finance from the University of Otago, completed between 2003 and 2005.
