Damian Sharkey

Damian Sharkey, MBA, currently serves as Senior Manager of International and Treasury Operations at Westpac New Zealand, overseeing teams involved in High Value Payments, Trade Services, and Wholesale Operations, among others. With a strong background in leadership roles at Westpac, including Workstream Director for a McKinsey-led transformation and Senior Manager of various operational areas, Damian has successfully implemented innovative banking solutions, enhancing service delivery and operational efficiency. Additional experience includes Board Membership at InnerFit NZ, a charity promoting well-being through various programs, and education credentials featuring an Executive MBA from The University of Auckland and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Victoria University of Wellington.
