Drew Kennedy

Drew Kennedy has extensive experience in risk management and compliance within the banking sector. Drew currently serves as the Head of Risk, Compliance, and Conduct at Westpac New Zealand since June 2023. Prior to this, Drew held various leadership positions at Bank of New Zealand, including Head of Risk & Compliance - Services from June 2019 to April 2023. Drew also worked as a Senior Risk and Compliance Manager from December 2018 to June 2019. From 2011 to 2017, Drew worked at ANZ Bank, where they held roles as the Head of Operational Risk, Distribution Channels, Retail, Business Banking & Wealth NZ, Head of Risk, Wealth New Zealand, and Manager Retail Governance. Drew started their career at GE Money as an Operational Risk Manager from August 2008 to August 2010.

Drew Kennedy pursued Post Grad Studies in Business Administration from the University of Auckland between 2009 and 2013. The degree involved studying various subjects including Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Supply Change Management, and Quantitative Analysis.
