Hajar Qanich

Hajar Qanich is a seasoned professional in cybersecurity and information security, currently serving as a Senior CyberSecurity Engineer at Westpac New Zealand since March 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Information Security Analyst and Information Security Analyst at Air New Zealand from January 2021 to March 2022, as well as an Information Technology System Engineer at City Rail Link Ltd from July 2019 to January 2021. Hajar began a career in technology as a Desktop Support Engineer at Fujitsu New Zealand between August 2017 and August 2019. Academic qualifications include a Master's Degree in Information Security and Digital Forensics from Auckland University of Technology (2021 - Present), a Postgraduate Degree in Information Technology from the Eastern Institute of Technology (2016 - 2017), a Bachelor of Applied Science in Information Systems and Networking Security from Université Cadi Ayyad (2011 - 2015), and a Brevet de Technicien Supérieur in Systèmes et Réseaux Informatiques from BTS Salé (2011 - 2013).
